Synopsis:
In a southern city, a new mega church, Freedom Baptist Church is inspiring change in a younger generation of African Americans. With a new message of empowerment with hip hop culture, the growth has been phenomenal. In a city plagued by poverty, drugs, violence, and gentrification, Freedom Baptist Church is leading the way in combating this and reinvigorating the black community. Led, by the charismatic Pastor Gerald Clayton, he has established a church that supports and grows the community with businesses, education, banking, and social programs that support the black family.
